Michael Produces Captain Luke

Michael has been in Winston Salem, North Carolina to produce and write with 84 year old blues legend Captain Luke. Their song will be featured in contemporary artist Xu Bing's new exhibition at the Virginia Museum of Fine Art.  The song sets a poem written by Rene Balcer comprised exclusively of tobacco plantation names to traditional Carolina blues.  It is available on iTunes by clicking here. You can also call (888) 301-8549 and enter 301# to hear it on your phone.

Michael in Nashville

Note from Michael: Nashville - Just finished writing a real smash with Khara Lord and Brennan Aerts while staying at the shabby chic Best Western Music Row for a week. Who knew there were 3 square miles of recording studios in one city?! I also got toether with the legendary Larry Gottlieb who has written for some heavy duty acts like The Four Tops and Blue Oyster Cult. I saw Regina Spektor at the Ryman and The Boss at the Sommet Center. Nashville really lives up to it's title as America's Music City.
